Janna brought out the carved elves this year. In the old shop they were placed on top of a yarn cabinet, right at eye level, and never failed to startle me. Their little looks of glee did nothing to help! Now they are safely below my line of vision, far less intimidating. The Sandra Gilmore stocking canvas was added to the shot because he is so beautiful, and at 40% off, is hoping for a new home. I have the pleasure of lighting the various Christmas displays every morning. Little pockets of beauty, nostalgia, peace. Time to put up my decorations at home, and spend evenings reading or stitching in the softer ambiance of candles and little lights.
