The Diva and the Injured Helper

I am left handed. My left hand paints, writes, knits, stitches, sews, cooks, repairs, demonstrates, and as it turns out, she relies a great deal on her mirror image twin. As for helping not only herself, let alone the injured hand on the right, I am genuinely surprised at what a diva this sinister hand is. I managed to make a few nerves and/or tendons really angry a few weeks ago when I spent hours balancing a scroll frame on a round table. Since then I decided it would be easier to injure the little princess on the left because she does not willingly grab bags of groceries, dig for the keys, carry mugs of coffee, open cat food cans. She even moves the mouse back to the right of the keyboard, sniffing that she is no one's secretary. So this is my whine for the summer. There was a lot of pain at bedtime last night, so I rummaged around on the nightstand for a soothing balm. The left hand was kind enough to massage the right, but I swear she whispered 'I hope this helps soon, I have had enough of this wriggling into a bra by myself'.
Happy stitching, but be careful!
