You might think that someone who works in a yarn shop and paints greeting cards could manage to be ready for the holidays with all sorts of hand knits and a stack of cards sent out on time. Nope! These two hats will go out tomorrow, and the cards will include a 'Happy New Year!", and it will not make the paper or change the feelings behind them one bit. While I am impressed by those who are ready in October, I will never be counted among them. Whether you are ready or not, no matter how you celebrate or do not, I hope you find some time for just enjoying the season. Wrap up in those shawls and cowls and sweaters you have poured so many hours into. We will be back Monday January 3, so you can start on next year's knitting and stitching.
