I walked in to seven more, supposedly the last of them, models to add to the sale. We have held model sales every other year or so for years. In the past they were silent auctions, with a number of sharks circling the table. Those were fun, if not a little dangerous, events! Now we are happy to be able to hold the sale in a new way, as more of you can shop, and we have more time to continue adding pieces. We are finding little pleasures in each one. We remember the buying trips where we first saw the yarns, poring over design books, deciding who would make which, and which customers were inspired to make them for themselves. All of this may not show in the knitting, but we know, and hope that some feeling of something special comes through when it is worn.
