Janna came to me with two special gifts from her stash, both kits for beaded handbags. This one is a knitted bag, using the knitting needles you can see in the photo, next to the pale blue coton perle 12. Yes, the #0000 pins. This was two weeks ago, and there have been a few subtle hints about getting to it. So, here I am, polishing my trifocals, wishing I had consumed a little less coffee, and stringing beads. The knitting should be easy enough, and the cast on is only 21 stitches. Maybe I put this here to create some accountability, maybe just to garner some sympathy. What I know at this point is that I have six million beads to go.
I never doubt how fortunate I am to be on this end of the relationship. A lifetime of lessons in knitting needlepoint, and being an adult.
