There are some projects available on our site that are partially stitched by Janna, some with much to do, and some nearly completely stitched. This one was about 60% stitched before Janna handed it to me to complete and enjoy using. The band was attached to the creel purse after my first cup of coffee this morning, following a weekend dedicated to wrapping up the beaded border and adding the stars and bubbles. One more piece off the to do list!
As some of you know, Janna has been mother figure, friend, employer, to me for more than forty years. The best of role models. The voice in my ear that reminds me to not be hasty. The voice that tells me it will all work out. When in doubt, sit and have a cup of tea. I am both lucky and grateful. I will resume work on another collab, a rather large tapestry that she started years ago.
