Cooler mornings mean it is more tempting to work with the mohair blends. I came across the Knit and Purl garter Shawl kits, and fell in love again. Louisa Harding's Amitola Brushed, in alternating rows with Luci or Millefiori Light, in a simple, rhythmic stitch, makes a light weight shawl that calls for reading in the back yard. I would add 'with a cup of tea', but that would have made for a run on and on and on sentence. You get the idea. The temps are dropping, fibers are a little easier to handle, rich colors are tempting. Grab your needles!
