Janna's roses are in that midst of that fabulous first bloom. Modern roses may not be as fragrant as old fashioned roses, but she has a good mix and so many blooming at once that walking out there is a calorie free dessert. This particular climber is my favorite for it's simple elegance. It almost makes me want to do some french knots. Almost. Maybe pull out the watercolor paper and paints. Maybe dig out the hammock and just enjoy the roses in my own garden. There, that's the plan.
