Summer Cravings

Two customers brought strawberries last week, and the farmer's market was loaded with cherries, so the cookbooks came out for weekend treats. Strawberry sorbet made with orange and lemon juice, and a cherry galette, made the cut. It is too early for melons, but I spied a recipe was for watermelon sorbet with a balsamic vinegar reduction. And that reminded me of this canvas, so I threw together a kit. This beautiful hand painted canvas is 12"x16", on 13 mesh. It will make a beautiful cushion or wall hanging, and that background can be worked in skip basketweave. so you know, not a career piece, time wise. Look for it as a kit, Watermelon Canvas Kit.
