Beautiful simplicity

Our friend, Delores, is knitting her third version of a garter stitch shawl in Marlene, by Lang. Just knitting, no pattern to track, no yarn over/knit two together gymnastics. The slubs, the thick and thin, make for edges that remind me of coral. Marlene, Marlene Luxe, and Stromboli will all give you this effect. Two or three skeins will be enough for a scarf, five or six skeins will be plenty for a shawl.
