Already a world away

One week back from the Netherlands, one week of daily naps, sharing stories, looking at the pictures, and Janna said it already feels long ago. We were busy every day, three plus miles busy. The evenings stayed light longer than here at home, and I loved the walks along the canals and in the parks. I loved seeing swans sitting around as though it is ordinary, it is not ordinary here. Just as seeing trees and the moon reflected in water was ordinary there. No writing, sketching, painting, made it to paper. I suppose it was enough to just absorb all the beauty.
